INTRODUCTION

 


The two superpowers of ancient Greece were the city-states of Sparta and Athens. Surprisingly, these two cities, although of equal importance, managed to stand out in very different ways. Athens was rich in subjects such as art and culture, while Sparta was training the toughest warriors in Greece. In time the two cities would become allies to fight the most bitter rivals and enemies.
